Hard Hats & Thankful Paws

An ABC Cares Thanksgiving Volunteer Event

This Thanksgiving season, we're trading in our hard hats for leashes and giving our four-legged friends something extra to be thankful for!

Join ABC Greater Houston's ABC Cares for Hard Hats & Thankful Paws, a special Thanksgiving-themed volunteer event benefiting the Montgomery County Animal Shelter!

We're bringing together our ABC family for a day filled with wagging tails, happy paws, and grateful hearts. Volunteers will have the opportunity to walk shelter dogs, shower them with some much-needed love and attention, and help brighten their day while they wait for their forever homes.

But the fun doesn't stop there! We're creating a festive Thanksgiving experience complete with pup cups, dog treats, photo opportunities, and plenty of puppy love!

Help a Shelter Dog Find Its Forever Home!

During the event, volunteers will have the opportunity to take photos of the dogs they walk and submit them to the shelter to help promote these deserving animals on social media. Who knows? Your photo might be the one that helps a pup find its forever family!

Building Hope, One Paw at a Time!

At ABC, we believe building stronger communities goes beyond the jobsite. It's about showing up, giving back, and making a difference wherever we can.

This Thanksgiving, let's come together to give these deserving animals something to wag their tails about!

Hard hats, thankful hearts, and happy paws. We can't wait to see you there!
