The Construction Careers Expo event draws a diverse group of students from around the Greater Houston area interested in construction as their future career path. Over 400 students are expected to attend and participate in various hands-on activities while learning about the many opportunities available in construction. None of this is possible without the support of volunteers and contributors. Please consider lending your time, talent, or monetary contribution to this event to help a young person learn about Construction Careers.

There are four ways to help make this a successful event:

Host a Career Information Booth: By hosting a career information booth, you are providing a unique opportunity to leave lasting impressions with students and help form a positive image about a career in construction. Come prepared to distribute company literature and have one-on-one conversations with students about a career in the construction industry.

Host a Hands-On Activity: By hosting a hands-on activity, students will have an opportunity to try their hands at various skills related to masonry, concrete, pipefitting, welding, scaffolding, painting, insulating, drywall, carpentry, rigging, instrumentation, electrical, rod busting, millwright, conduit bending, or equipment simulators.
Serve as a Volunteer
